FAQ's:
What is a sustainable demountable partition system?
It is a partition system that is engineered for rapid, easy installation and reconfiguration.
Manufactured largely from recycled waste and can be recycled at the end of it's life span. This is called a "cradle to cradle" product. It never enters the waste stream.
Is this system expensive?
When looking at a total cost NexSpace is competitive if not less expensive than the traditional drywall method. The initial cost of the system is higher than drywall. However, it creates savings by reducing the costs of installation of carpet, ceiling grids, and tiles, power and voice/data wiring as well is quicker move-ins that reduce rent paid while the build-out occurs. Initially drywall may look cheaper, but you have to add in all the savings for a true comparison. Our reps can help you do the comparison.
Does it look nice?
The NexSpace system offers many surfaces and other options that can accommodate various designs, themes and styles, including a full glass wall option.
Are the offices created using this product private?
The NexSpace partition has been engineered to provide a high degree of sound abatement making it difficult to hear a loud conversation through a standard partition.
How does the system work?
NexSpace is a system manufactured to fit your current space. NexSpace has built-in adjustability to allow for site dimension variances. The system arrive as complete shipment and our licensed installers complete a rapid, thorough project for you. There is no site waste (NO SITE DUST) created during installation.
Why wouldn't I just us drywall?
NexSpace has many benefits over drywall. Drywall is a slow messy, unpleasant method of creating partitions. As your company grows, your space needs to change. With drywall you tear down, send it to a landfill (creating pollution), build new wall (wasting virgin materials), and repaint (adding pollution in to the workspace). By the time you have completed this lengthy method your company could have more than paid for NexSpace and in turn decreased your reconfiguration time and improved the environment, both in and outside the office space.
How long does it take? Will we have to close down the office?
We can install 7 private NexSpace offices with trim and wiring, ready to move in just 5 days. NexSpace has accomplished this less than eight feet from a functioning department without one noise complaint or missed call.
Where would I use the NexSpace Partition System?
The NexSpace system has many applications. It can be used for dividing any space in which a drywall partition would have been used. It has been used successfully for office partitions, dividing hotel rooms into student berths, and as partitioning in basement projects.
What is LEED?
LEED is a comprehensive program which is intended to steer construction projects to minimize their impact on the environment through recycling and reducing energy and other resource demands. This program is becoming the new norm for construction methods and is beneficial on many levels.
How does NexSpace fit with LEED?
NexSpace was designed to use materials with the highest possible amount of sustainable input. 85% of the weight of the system is made with recycled material. Each and every component in our system contains a high amount of recycled input. Our manufacturing and shipping practices also reduce the amount of waste created.
